Lamar County came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Northridge Jaguars, sneaking past 5-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-5 back in March.

Lamar County's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Northridge, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-8-2.

Lamar County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-3 victory against Haleyville on the 4th. As for Northridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-2 win against South Lamar on the 3rd.
