Baseball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall lost against East Central back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rams fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 5-4. The Rams' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

Marshall's record now sits at 2-16. As for East Central, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marshall will take on Holmes at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East Central, they will square off against Sotomayor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
