Basketball Recap: Ottumwa Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ottumwa can now relate to. They were beaten by the Southeast Polk Rams 63-34 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Rams are ranked 32nd).

Ottumwa's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Southeast Polk, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

As of now, neither Ottumwa nor Southeast Polk have any future games scheduled.
