Volleyball Recap: Barrington Comes Up Short

Barrington was the 2-1 winner over Riverside-Brookfield when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fillies/Broncos fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Fillies/Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kalyn Brookbank paced Barrington's offense, picking up 21 kills. Brookbank got some help from Eve Adler and her 23 assists. Antonia Rojas controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Barrington's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Riverside-Brookfield, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Barrington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Geneva on the 30th. As for Riverside-Brookfield, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Maine South on the 30th.
