Timnath has gone a perfect 3-0 against Roosevelt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cubs will head out on the road to face off against the Roughriders at 6:30 p.m. Timnath is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

On Tuesday, Timnath earned a 3-1 win over Severance.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 17-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Roosevelt's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Thompson Valley, falling 3-0.

While Roosevelt was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-16, 25-9.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Timnath, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Timnath beat Roosevelt 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cubs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
