Preview: Woodland vs. Luella
The Woodland Wolfpack will be playing in front of their home fans against the Luella Lions at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Luella took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Woodland, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Woodland's game was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged Locust Grove out 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Woodland.
They hit Locust Grove with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Cristian Romero,
Dylan Gaston, and
Diego Mireles.
Meanwhile, sadly, Luella is still looking for their first win of the season after five contests. They fell just short of Union Grove by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Luella has lost by exactly one goal.
The win got Woodland back to even at 2-2. Luella's season is starting to look like last year's as the team currently sits at an 0-5 record this season.
