Basketball Recap: North Valley Takes a Loss

If North Valley was feeling good fresh off their 54-17 takedown of Rogue River last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Valley Knights took a 36-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brookings-Harbor Bruins. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

North Valley's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Brookings-Harbor, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

North Valley has already played their next match (against Reedsport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brookings-Harbor will take on Cascade Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
