Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Comes Up Short

St. Joseph Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Archbishop Hoban Knights, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Jaguars have suffered since November 9, 2024.

While St. Joseph Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Archbishop Hoban work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24, 25-18.

Anne Culkar paced St. Joseph Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Culkar got some help from Stella Welch and her 25 assists. Molly Sullivan and Jazlene 'Jazzy' Ocasio kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Macie Mintz was a one-woman wrecking crew For Archbishop Hoban. as she had 18 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Mintz has posted since back in August.
