Basketball Game Preview: Rincon/University Rangers vs. Cholla Chargers + How To Watch

Rincon/University hasn't had much luck against Cholla recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rangers will host the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Rincon/University has given up an average of 56.4 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Rincon/University's last matchup with Buena could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Rangers were dealt a 69-37 loss at the hands of the Colts. The matchup marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Rincon/University's defeat came about despite a quality game from Hudson Gordon, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cholla). They breezed past Walden Grove to the tune of 88-57 on Wednesday. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Red Wolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Rincon/University now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Cholla, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Rincon/University ended up a good deal behind Cholla in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, losing 70-52. Thankfully for the Rangers, Michael Payne (who shot 60% from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and eight assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
