Basketball Game Preview: Blackstone-Millville Chargers vs. Whitinsville Christian Crusaders

The Blackstone-Millville Chargers will take on the Whitinsville Christian Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Thursday, Blackstone-Millville came up short against Douglas and fell 44-34. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Blackstone-Millville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Marren Berry posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzie Gaudette, who earned six points.

Meanwhile, Whitinsville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 58-28 loss at the hands of Hopedale. One positive for the Crusaders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Blackstone-Millville's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Whitinsville Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Everything came up roses for Blackstone-Millville against Whitinsville Christian in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as the squad secured a 60-26 win.
