Soccer Recap: Monta Vista Finishes Even with Milpitas

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Monta Vista was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. Neither they nor the Milpitas Trojans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Yichen Gao was the only thing that stood between Monta Vista and a shutout considering he scored both of Monta Vista's goals, bringing his season total up to 11 goals.

With that draw, Monta Vista's record moves to 7-2-3. As for Milpitas, they moved theirs to 3-1-5.

Monta Vista will face off against Evergreen Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Milpitas, they will square off against Cupertino at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Milpitas' last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
