Volleyball Recap: Monona Grove Snags Seventh Victory in Last Nine Games

Monona Grove lost to Barneveld back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Silver Eagles came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Sedona Paprocki paced Monona Grove's offense, picking up 13 kills. Paprocki got some help from Madison Stevens and her 16 assists. Payton Hanson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Monona Grove has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Barneveld, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monona Grove will welcome DeForest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Barneveld, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Albany at 7:00 p.m.
