Baseball Recap: Christian Fellowship Makes It Five in a Row at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Non Varsity Opponent, Christian Fellowship was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Calvary Lutheran Lions.

The team relied heavily on Wyatt Jennings, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Christian Fellowship is undefeated when Jennings posts two or more runs, but 1-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Sterling Nivens, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs.

Christian Fellowship pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Calvary Lutheran, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Christian Fellowship will face off against Van-Far at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calvary Lutheran, they will square off against Jamestown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
