Baseball Recap: Belleville Comes Up Short

Belleville lost against New Glarus back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Glarner Knights by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered against the Glarner Knights since May 14, 2021.

Belleville's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for New Glarus, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

While Belleville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
