Basketball Recap: Skyview Comes Up Short

If Skyview was riding high fresh off their 79-56 takedown of Battle Ground last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Skyview Storm were beaten by the Camas Papermakers 76-36 on Tuesday. The Storm were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.

Skyview has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 13-4 Union (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 64.8% over those games). As for Camas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Skyview will look to defend their home court on Friday against Union at 7:00 p.m. As for Camas, they will venture away from home to face off against Battle Ground at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Battle Ground: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Camas has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road.
