Softball Recap: Cajun Christian Athletics Has No Trouble Against Legacy Christian Academy

Cajun Christian Athletics won against Acadiana Christian last Tuesday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Cajun Christian Athletics Gators put the hurt on the Legacy Christian Academy Lions with a sharp 15-4 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gators.

Cajun Christian Athletics got a massive performance out of Bethany Hill, who scored three runs and stole Five bases. while going 2-for-3. Hill is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least two every time she's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lydia Tullos, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and one RBI.

Cajun Christian Athletics always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .543 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Cajun Christian Athletics' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Cajun Christian Athletics will take on Acadiana Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they will face off against Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
