Preview: L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders vs. Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils
L'Anse Creuse North has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
Last Thursday, L'Anse Creuse North had to suffer through a rough 63-33 loss at the hands of Dakota. While losing is never fun, L'Anse Creuse North can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 403rd, while Dakota is ranked 15th).
Grosse Pointe South can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 50-31 victory over Port Huron. The victory was just what Grosse Pointe South needed coming off of a 62-39 loss in their prior matchup.
L'Anse Creuse North's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Grosse Pointe South, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
L'Anse Creuse North was dealt a bruising 52-23 loss at the hands of Grosse Pointe South when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can L'Anse Creuse North avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
