Volleyball Recap: Leo Gets the Win

Leo won the last time they faced Woodlan and things went their way on Sunday too. The Lions had just enough and edged out the Warriors 2-1.

Lucas Stetzel paced Leo's offense, picking up 15 kills. Stetzel got some help from Ethan Smith and his 17 assists. Stetzel was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Leo now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Woodlan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Leo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against DeKalb on the 14th. As for Woodlan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian on the 14th.
