Roosevelt is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Bishop Blanchet just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Bears, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Roughriders have suffered since November 6, 2024.

Roosevelt was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Lakeside earned a 3-1 win over Eastside Catholic on Monday.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Lakeside, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
