Soccer Recap: Davenport Wins Going Away Against Fort Meade

After failing to score in their last match, Davenport made sure to put some goals up on the board against Fort Meade on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over the Fort Meade Miners. It was an even better day for Marisol Enhelder as she scored four goals for her team.

Davenport's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-2. As for Fort Meade, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Davenport wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-0 win against Mulberry on the 9th. As for Fort Meade, they will host Hardee at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Meade is facing Hardee at the right time seeing as Hardee is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
