Lakeside Lutheran got themselves on the board against Deerfield on Tuesday, but Deerfield never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Demons. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

The win was the sixth in a row for Lakeside Lutheran, bringing their record up to 15-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Deerfield, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-10.

Looking ahead, Lakeside Lutheran will host Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Deerfield, they will head out to face off against Johnson Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bluejays' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Demons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
