            Softball Recap: Wasco Tigers vs. Delano Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Wasco got themselves on the board against Delano on Tuesday, but Delano never followed suit. They blew past Delano 13-0. The  win continues a trend for Wasco in their matchups with Delano: they've now won seven in a row.

 Abby Salazar and  Kilynn McCurdy did most of the damage at the plate:  Salazar  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4, while  McCurdy  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  McCurdy a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sienna Lugo, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 They weren't the only ones working in the  hit department: Wasco  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 19  hits. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 5.6  hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 11.2.
Wasco's victory bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Delano, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record  this season.
Wasco will have a chance to go back-to-back against Delano: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
