Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Staunton). They never let the Pana Panthers get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for Staunton in their matchups with Pana: they've now won nine in a row.

Staunton's offense was hitting Pana from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Greyson Luketich led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Staunton's victory bumped their record up to 13-7-1. As for Pana, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-15-1.

Coming up, Staunton will head out to take on Maryville Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pana, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Altamont on the 10th.
