Basketball Recap: 12 Straight Home Wins for Hayfork

A well-balanced attack led Hayfork over Happy Camp in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Hayfork Timberjacks blew the Happy Camp Indians out of the water with a 75-34 final score. With the Timberjacks ahead 40-17 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Hayfork's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Levi Cavalli led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. The match was Cavalli's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Anthony Bonelli was another key player, putting up 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Hayfork smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.
