Basketball Recap: Ravenna Comes Up Short

Ravenna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against the Field Falcons, falling 56-11. The game marked the Ravens' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Field's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Delilah Rahe, who almost dropped a double-double on ten boards and nine steals. Rahe has been hot, having posted nine or more rebounds the last six times she's played. Mckayla Miller was another key player, going 7 for 11 en route to 19 points.

Ravenna's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Field, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Ravenna is taking a road trip to square off against Trinity at 7:00 a.m. on February 14th. As for Field, they will square off against Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
