Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westover). They walked away with a 46-35 victory over the Jackson Red Devils on Friday. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Devils, too.

Jackson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Canaan Bernhardt, who threw for 213 yards and two TDs. Jaison McCall also helped with three scores in total.

Westover's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 35.8 points this season. As for Jackson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Westover didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-14 loss against Peach County on the 25th. As for Jackson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 44-0 win against Rutland on the 26th.
