Baseball Game Preview: La Crosse Logan Rangers vs. Richland Center Hornets

The La Crosse Logan Rangers are taking a road trip to challenge the Richland Center Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

La Crosse Logan is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Holmen on Monday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The Rangers have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Richland Center didn't have quite enough to beat Dodgeville on Friday and fell 4-3.

Richland Center's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for La Crosse Logan, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

La Crosse Logan took their victory against Richland Center in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 13-3 score. Do the Rangers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
