Basketball Game Preview: Dynamic Prep - vs. Montverde Academy Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Dynamic Prep - will jump right back in to play the Montverde Academy Eagles at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Dynamic Prep comes in on three and Montverde Academy on six.

On Saturday, Dynamic Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Roman Catholic, taking the game 75-63. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the -'s considerable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked first in Texas, while the Cahillite are ranked 28th in Pennsylvania).

Dynamic Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Austin Goosby, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. Goosby has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 60% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Dakar Spear, who went 8-for-11 en route to 19 points.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Montverde Academy beat Archbishop Stepinac 74-70 on Saturday.

Dynamic Prep's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Montverde Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Dynamic Prep strolled past Montverde Academy when the teams last played back in April by a score of 67-52. Will the - repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
