Basketball Recap: Sherburne-Earlville Takes a Loss

Sherburne-Earlville lost against Herkimer back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sherburne-Earlville Marauders were beaten by the Herkimer Magicians 61-26. While losing is never fun, the Marauders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 625th, while the Magicians are ranked 277th).

Sherburne-Earlville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Herkimer, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Sherburne-Earlville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Herkimer, they will challenge Frankfort-Schuyler at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
