Sedrick Vaughn Turns in Season-Best Performance
Vallejo was led to victory by Sedrick Vaughn, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Wyatt Swanson stepped things up a notch to give Saint Mary the 'W'. De Anza had no answer to Swanson as he rushed for 101 yards and three touchdowns. Swanson didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made two total tackles.
Saint Mary's now has a winning record of 4-3. Swanson and Saint Mary's will head out to face off against Pinole Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
