Sedrick Vaughn Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 Vallejo was led to victory by  Sedrick Vaughn, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Vaughn rushed for 260 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 33 receiving yards, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  forcing a fumble and making two total tackles.
 On the season,  Vaughn  has averaged 73.2 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after six games last season,  he had two  rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to six.

Jozhon Stallworth Dazzles in De Anza Defeat
 While De Anza might've come up empty  on Saturday,  Jozhon Stallworth wasn't going down without a fight. Stallworth was dynamite, rushing for 209 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also picking up 58 receiving yards.
 De Anza is  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6. Stallworth and De Anza will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Salesian College Preparatory  at 7:00  p.m.

Saint Mary's Gets a Boost from Swanson in  21-14  Victory
 Winning always takes teamwork, but  on Saturday  Wyatt Swanson stepped things up a notch to give Saint Mary the 'W'. De Anza had no answer to  Swanson  as he rushed for 101 yards and three touchdowns. Swanson didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made two total tackles.
 Saint Mary's now  has a winning record of 4-3. Swanson and Saint Mary's will head out to  face off against Pinole Valley  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

  Joezon Broussard was a major factor in El Cerrito's  victory over Salesian College Preparatory on Saturday. Broussard did his part (and then some), rushing for 109 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries for the 'W'.
 El Cerrito's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 5-2. Broussard and El Cerrito will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against Vallejo at 7:00  p.m.

Malikii Lavern Makes It Two for El Cerrito
 Another El Cerrito player making an appearance on this list is  Malikii Lavern. He rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
 On the season,  Lavern  has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 91.5 rushing yards per game.
