Soccer Recap: Ada Beats Fort Jennings for Their Second Straight Victory

While Ada's victory against Fort Jennings wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs' defense stepped up to hand the Musketeers a 1-0 shutout on Monday. Carson Conley had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Ada.

The win made it two in a row for Ada and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Fort Jennings, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ada will host Riverdale at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ada will be up against Riverdale's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fort Jennings, they will take on Miller City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
