Recap: Cloverdale Clovers vs. Edgewood Mustangs

This season hasn't been kind to the Cloverdale Clovers, who are still winless after their eighth matchup. The game between Cloverdale and Edgewood wasn't particularly close, with Cloverdale falling 51-34. Cloverdale has not had much luck with Edgewood recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Edgewood found their leader in underclassman Macey Crider, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Madison Bland was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 6 steals.

The last time Cloverdale won on the road was back on Tuesday. Having now lost three straight away matchups, they've bumped their record down to 0-8. As for Edgewood, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cloverdale will take on Eminence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eminence's defense has only allowed 25.4 points per game this season, so Cloverdale's offense will have their work cut out for Cloverdale. Edgewood won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against North Putnam at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Hopefully North Putnam focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
