Volleyball Recap: Space Coast Victorious + How To Watch

The Space Coast Vipers were able to grind out a solid win over the Edgewater Eagles on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vipers.

Space Coast had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-13, 25-14, 27-25.

Haley Cowling continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, getting 29 digs and three aces. Cowling is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 20 every time she's taken the court this season.

Cowling wasn't the only good server: Space Coast was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Edgewater only served five aces.

Space Coast picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Edgewater, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Space Coast will face off against Eau Gallie at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edgewater, they are taking a road trip to take on Jones at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
