Millville suffers sixth straight loss at home

The Millville Quakers suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They were outmatched by Muncy at home and fell 66-24. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Millville in their matchups with Muncy: they've now lost five in a row.

It was another big night for Noah Confer, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds for Muncy. Confer hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Nathan Rogers, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Millville's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-9. As for Muncy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millville will square off against Bucktail at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Muncy, they will head out on the road to face off against Sullivan County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sullivan County will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
