Soccer Recap: South Rowan Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, South Rowan was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lake Norman Charter Knights, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as South Rowan were already down 5-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Hailee Ashby, which was the first she's scored this season.

South Rowan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lake Norman Charter, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

South Rowan wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against West Rowan on the 28th. As for Lake Norman Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-1 victory against East Rowan on the 26th.
