Baseball Recap: North Duplin Comes Up Short

North Duplin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Midway Raiders, falling 11-1.

North Duplin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Graham, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

North Duplin's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Midway, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

North Duplin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Midway, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Pauls at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
