Basketball Recap: Trinity Prep Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

It was a proper cat-fight when Trinity Prep took on Peachtree Academy on Thursday. The Trinity Prep Lions walked away with a 60-53 win over the Peachtree Academy Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-46 back in December of 2024.

Beau Blocker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 11 for 16 en route to 30 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was David Kedar, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 14 points.

Peachtree Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Jackson, who posted 24 points. Jackson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Abraham, who put up 14 points.

Trinity Prep's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. As for Peachtree Academy, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Trinity Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 81-51 defeat against Victory Baptist on the 17th. As for Peachtree Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-41 win against Faith Christian Academy on the 17th.
