Soccer Game Preview: Dunbar vs. Western Hills

Dunbar is 0-10 against Western Hills since February of 2020 but things could change on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Dunbar face off against Western Hills at 8:00 p.m. Dunbar has given up an average of 4.5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Dunbar's offense. They lost 7-0 to Southwest on Tuesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, while the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Western Hills who was credited with the win on Tuesday. Western Hills got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Carter-Riverside's two.

Western Hills now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Dunbar, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Dunbar suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Western Hills when the teams last played back in February. Can Dunbar avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
