Basketball Recap: Bismarck Comes Up Short

After soaring to 61 points the game before, Bismarck was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were dealt an 84-30 loss at the hands of the Fredericktown Black Cats. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 80-38 to the Black Cats when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Bismarck still got an impressive performance from August Martinez, who posted 16 points and eight boards.

Bismarck's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Bismarck didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-51 win against Ellington on the 26th. As for Fredericktown, they have also already played their next matchup, a 43-39 loss against South Iron on the 26th.
