Volleyball Recap: Riley Swann and Sophie Eggleston Secure Win for Cotopaxi + How To Watch

Cotopaxi won the last time they faced Antonito and things went their way on Friday too. The Pirates blew past the Trojans 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Cotopaxi walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12, 25-20.

Cotopaxi was led to victory by Sophie Eggleston and Riley Swann. Eggleston had 15 digs and three aces, while Swann had 19 digs. Eggleston has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Cotopaxi was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matches.

The win got Cotopaxi back to even at 8-8. As for Antonito, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
