Alcoa strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past the South-Doyle Cherokees to the tune of 38-7. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Alcoa's record is now 7-0. As for South-Doyle, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Alcoa and South-Doyle will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Tornadoes see the field they'll take on Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for South-Doyle, their break will end when they face Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
