For the second straight game, Vestavia Hills will face off against Oak Mountain. The Rebels will head out to square off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vestavia Hills' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Oak Mountain's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Last Monday, Vestavia Hills got the win against Oak Mountain by a conclusive 11-1. Considering the Rebels have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Vestavia Hills and bumps their season record up to 20-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Oak Mountain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-15 record this season.
