The Fannindel Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Savoy Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fannindel will be strutting in after a victory while Savoy will be coming in after a loss.
Fannindel is headed out to face Savoy after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Fannindel managed a 44-38 win over Campbell on Thursday.
Daylon Powell had a dynamite game for Fannindel, rushing for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
Powell wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Fannindel was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 392 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2023.

Meanwhile, Savoy had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by Forestburg 59-19.
Fannindel was able to grind out a solid victory over Savoy in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, winning 68-56.
