Recap: Linganore Lancers vs. North Hagerstown Hubs
The Linganore Lancers were the 59-55 winner over the North Hagerstown Hubs when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Linganore fell just short of North Hagerstown by a score of 61-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Linganore's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Petruzzello, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Petruzzello's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Donaldson, who scored 12 points.
Linganore's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for North Hagerstown, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
Linganore will be playing in front of their home fans against Urbana at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Hagerstown, they will head out on the road to face off against Williamsport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
