Basketball Recap: Perry County Triumphs

Perry County hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost four straight) but thanks in part to Colton Pevahouse that streak is no more. The Perry County Vikings put the hurt on the Scotts Hill Lions with a sharp 68-43 victory on Thursday thanks in part to Pevahouse, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 boards. Those 25 points gave him a new career-high.

Perry County's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Scotts Hill, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry County will challenge Collinwood at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. As for Scotts Hill, they will square off against Liberty Tech Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Scotts Hill is facing Liberty Tech Magnet at the right time seeing as Liberty Tech Magnet is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
