Ironwood Ridge won the last time they faced Walden Grove and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks had just enough and edged the Walden Grove Red Wolves out 42-40. Ironwood Ridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Serenity Hampton, who went 9 for 18 to rack up 24 points and six boards. That's the most points Hampton has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Molly Walter, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Ironwood Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Walden Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.
