Gray's Creek's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6. As for Purnell Swett, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gray's Creek will take on Seventy-First at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Seventy-First is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Purnell Swett, they will be playing at home against Cape Fear at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Cape Fear focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Wednesday.
