Soccer Game Preview: Northgate vs. Buford

The Northgate Vikings will head out to face off against the Buford Wolves at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are still undefeated (Northgate has 15 wins , while Buford has 14).

Northgate's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over East Coweta. Considering Northgate have won ten games by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Buford earned a 2-0 win over Jefferson on Thursday. Give Buford's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Buford pushed their record up to 14-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those eight contests. As for Northgate, their victory bumped their record up to 15-0.
