Baseball Recap: Aurora Takes a Loss

Aurora lost against Lake back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Greenmen lost 8-2 to the Blue Streaks. The Greenmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aurora saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Anzells, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Aurora's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Lake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.

Aurora wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-1 loss against St. Vincent-St. Mary on the 10th. As for Lake, they will head out on the road to square off against Alliance at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Aviators will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Blue Streaks surely won't give up without a fight.
