Volleyball Recap: Aquinas Comes Up Short at Home Against Augusta E

Aquinas unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Augusta E Eagles on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fightin' Irish of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aquinas will head out to challenge Fox Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Augusta E, they will face off against Veritas Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
